Translating a technical text requires first mastering the language and terminology of the industry. Translating a manual requires the procedures and application to be crystal clear. Translating a press release means knowing how to write it in a way that is appropriate to the subject, the language and context. Translation of technical documents often means thousands of pages, hundreds of thousands of words, a significant cost. Working smarter is essential to being more efficient and keep costs down. We use semi-automatic translation systems which means we can be more efficient by only translating once. Having a system memory means that if the same or similar phrases are already translated, we use them, and only translate new material. Thus keeping costs down for our customers.
